1
When buying crucian carp at the market, ask for wild ones. This step can be ignored????. -
2
Wash the crucian carp and put it in a grate to drain the water. Wash and cut the mushrooms and cut the tofu. Wash the coriander. -
3
Put oil in the pot and a little salt. Fry over low heat until both sides of the fish are golden brown. -
4
Put oil in a casserole and sauté onions and ginger, then add boiling water. Pour the fried fish into the casserole and simmer over low heat for half an hour. -
5
This step can be ignored. I have children at home. So after the fish soup was cooked into milky white, I removed the fish, scallions and ginger and threw them away -
6
Add in mushrooms and tofu and continue simmering for ten minutes. -
7
Add salt and chicken essence. If you like chives, you can cut the green onion leaves and put them inside. I don't like it, so I put coriander and drizzle with sesame oil. -
8
There may be small thorns on the bottom of the pot if the soup is served from above if there are children at home.. Pay attention.
Tips
My girl has a weak taste. So I didn’t add pepper or cooking wine or anything like that. For kids, the less seasoning the better. The soup is very milky white. Be sure to boil water. No need to stew in cold water.
